THE TEAM

Chris Sterrett , District Manager & Owner

“I started with Cutco and Vector back in 2013. I wasn’t looking for a job at the time. I just graduated from high school, was working as a manager for 3 pools and didn’t plan on doing much else for the summer. I got a random call about the job from quite an energetic receptionist. She said a girl from my high school referred me. At first I declined because I didn’t think I had enough time. It was also a bit weird to be referred for a position from a girl I barely knew in high school for a job I had no idea about haha. The thing that I liked the most wasn’t even the pay, it was actually their scholarship program. Needless to say going in for the interview 10 years ago was one of the best decisions i’ve ever made.  In addition to running our Baltimore, Cumberland, Eastern Shore, and Harford County locations, I believe its important to lead by example so personally still sell Cutco. With my sales now exceeding $500,000 coaching representatives to sell over $1.9 Million worth of Cutco, I’ve come to realize nothing is more rewarding than working your way up and earning your success. Our has been one of the top 3 offices in the division every year for the last 3 years and top 10 within the region. I am so proud of what we’ve been able to accomplish so far and excited for the future of the Central/North Maryland and Eastern Shore District team.”

JJ Bonta , 2021 Branch Manager Alumni

“ I started with Cutco 4 1/2 years ago (summer of 2019) and it all happened because a friend from volleyball thought I’d be a good fit for the job. Even though I thought it was weird and sketchy, I wanted to know for sure so I decided to check it out anyway because I heard about how it would help my resume and set me apart from just being one of those college kids with a part-time fast food job. I am so glad I started. Fast forward to now 4 yrs later, I ran my first satellite Branch office for the summer and as a student hired and trained representatives in the Easton, MD. $70k for the territory all on summer break. Career Sales now over $100,000. And recent grad from Stevenson , with a degree in Cybersecurity. Vector helped Shape who I am today and I still sell from time to time for the extra income. ”

Justin Wilhelm, Office Manager

“ I graduated from Eastern Tech High school not totally sure of my future plans. I was working part time at Weis Supermarket for the last two years while planning my life goals. A friend randomly recommended me to come in and check out the job. I was a bit nervous since I’ve never done anything like this. I was accepted for the position and once I started , things quickly started to pick up. In just a few months, I sold more than $40,000. Less than a year later, I was promoted to office manager and now also apart of our Events Team (Cutco stands at Home and Garden Shows, Wine Festivals, Art Shows, etc.). I’m a firm believer that we have a great product, we work hard, have fun, and respect each other. You couldn’t have a better place or group of people to work with.”

Because of my hard work, I was accepted into leadership academy and ran a Branch office in 2021 in Dover Delaware.
